Cellulite treatment in Kiev
Cellulite is a lipodystrophy, changes in the skin and subcutaneous fat. It occurs as a result of hormonal disorders and leads to impaired microcirculation with lymphatic edema.
Cellulite, which we see in everyday life, on the beach, in the mirror, is not a disease. Due to numerous publications in the media, cellulite is associated primarily with aesthetic problems, which generally require the use of ointments and creams.
Cellulite treatment should be entrusted to a professional. The appearance of cellulite can range from minor aesthetic changes to severe functional impairment and pain. Indurative cellulite is especially worth noting – it is a disease and, without proper treatment, can lead to major problems.

Skin is the outer covering of the body that protects the body from numerous external influences.
The skin consists of the epidermis, dermis, and subcutaneous fat (hypodermis).
The skin participates in respiration, thermoregulation, metabolism, various types of surface sensitivity (pain, pressure, temperature), and many other processes. Elastic, collagenous, and smooth muscles give the skin high strength and elasticity.

Subcutaneous fat is composed of connective tissue and fat cells (adipocytes), through which blood vessels and nerve fibers pass.
Intact skin is characterized by the presence of a large number of small adipocytes, grouped in “fat lobules” surrounded by collagen and reticular tissues. Fat cells are surrounded by arterial, venous and lymphatic microcapillaries, through which lipids enter the blood and nourish the tissues of the body. There are also nerve receptors and nerve fibers, with the help of which tissue functions are regulated.
There are 4 stages of cellulite development:
- The first stage is edema; it is characterized by fluid retention between cells. This is a relatively “mild” form of cellulite.
- The second stage is the compaction and hardening of connective tissue fibers. It manifests itself in the deterioration of the outflow/inflow of blood and lymph at the capillary level (the skin loses elasticity and changes color).
- The third stage is liposclerosis. It is very often accompanied by dermosclerosis. The skin thickens, pigmentation appears. Blood circulation in the skin and subcutaneous tissue is significantly impaired. This stage is often described as a “severe form of cellulite.”
- The fourth stage is characterized by an increase in the number of nodules that merge and are a source of pain when touched or pressed. Ulceration is possible. Quite often, the presence of infection is noted..
The above classification is very conditional. In neighboring areas of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, various processes can occur simultaneously. The closer to the foot, the worse the arterial, venous and lymphatic capillaries are in, the worse the blood supply to the tissues and the faster trophic changes develop in them. The opportunity to remove cellulite in the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region will be provided by our vascular pathology clinic.

Treatment
The main condition for success is the normalization of blood circulation in the tissues. Increased arterial blood flow and improved venous blood and lymph outflow contribute to the restoration of metabolic processes. At the same time, correction of hormonal, water, fat, electrolyte metabolism, etc. is necessary.
Please note! Any rough, harsh manipulations with the skin and subcutaneous tissue lead to bad consequences. For example, improper massage with a cup or so-called vacuum massage can stretch already weak connective tissue fibers, damage capillary vessels (there is a risk of developing and progressing reticular varicose veins, worsening lymphostasis).
Conclusion:
The methods of treating cellulite and lymphostasis (in the initial stages) are no different. Comprehensive treatment (hardware and with the help of medicines), aimed at improving lymphatic drainage from the skin and subcutaneous tissue, normalizing the process of metabolism of active substances in them, helps restore the structure of the skin and reduce body volume, increases skin elasticity, and eliminates sagging.
